Providing Easy Public Access to Prescription Drug, Over-the-Counter Drug, and Biological Product Labeling

Every prescription drug (including biological drug products) approved by
FDA for human use comes with FDA-approved labeling. The labeling
contains information necessary to inform healthcare providers about the
safe and effective use of the drug for its approved use(s). Once a
prescription drug is approved, the labeling may be updated as new
information becomes available, including, for example, new approved
uses, new dosing recommendations, and new safety information. Thus, the
approved labeling is a "living document" that changes over time to
reflect increased knowledge about the safety and effectiveness of the
drug.

Identification for Your Pet – It’s a Must!

Each day, we meet people who are desperately looking for their pets,
which for whatever reason have been lost from their control. The
standard question asked of these individuals is, "Was your dog/cat
wearing a collar and tag?" and the answer given far too often is, "No, I
had just given the dog/cat a bath, and had not put the collar back on."
All that comes to mind is how clean our stray population must be.
History has shown that a much larger scale of these events can be found
each time a hurricane strikes and devastates an area.

Pain Management without Drugs or Surgery

Pain Management without Drugs or Surgery
An article I read stated that 1 out of 4
people live with chronic pain. 1 out of 4, that to me is a staggering
number of people, and what it says about our lives is interesting. While
admittedly there are some situations that require the use of medication
and/or surgery as a means for pain control, these methods are highly
overused and often create more problems than they solve. The many
turning to traditional medicine to cure their aches and pains may not
realize that there are ways to naturally produce pain relief just by
manual manipulation of the body.

Neuromuscular Therapy: An Effective treatment for Sciatic Nerve Pain

medical illustration of symptoms of the sciatica
Sciatica is usually caused by disc
herniation in the lower lumbar region and it is generally due to injury
of the lower back. The symptoms of sciatic nerve pain can range from
mild and acute to debilitating and chronic. The most important step to
alleviating this type of pain, in either case, is immediate treatment.
It has been reported that more than 80% of the U.S. population suffers
from lower back pain at one point during their lifetime and more than 3
million ER visits in the U.S. alone are related to it each year.

Stem cell therapy: FDA regulatory science aims to facilitate development of safe and effective regenerative medicine products

One of FDA's primary missions is to make sure that the products we
approve are safe and effective. There is tremendous interest in the
development of regenerative medicine, including numerous proposed
products that rely on stem cells. Stem cells have the ability to
generate more stem cells or to turn into more mature cell types such as
nerve- or bone-producing cells. These properties make stem cells
potentially well suited for use in regenerative medicine. They might be
used in repairing heart, nerve, and brain damage or in treating diabetes
and other diseases by repairing or replacing cells and tissues.

Humor! Coolest pop culture sox in town!

We follow fashion trends like lobbyists follow Congress. We want to be
at the epicenter of the power of the trend to mold and shape opinion as
it relates to....... ourselves. Since we can now make our feelings known
'worldwide' through social media, our ego constantly calls out for
more.

What is fashion? Is it the current style of the social elite? Is it what famous people wear?

Where
does fashion start? Does it start on the drawing boards of designers?
Maybe not.... It may start with a pre-teen in Tokyo who didn't have
matching sox. Maybe the laundry wasn't done that day. Maybe it was too
dark to see. The girl's classmates picked it up and started wearing
un-matched sox. It spread via social media and became a fad.

Humor! Presidential travel might never be the same!

Kicking off their yearly vacation and mindful of Republicans talking
about the so-called wasteful spending of the current administration,
President Obama and his family left Air Force One on the tarmac and took
a Greyhound bus to Martha's Vineyard.
