Maybe not.... It may start with a pre-teen in Tokyo who didn't have
matching sox. Maybe the laundry wasn't done that day. Maybe it was too
dark to see. The girl's classmates picked it up and started wearing
un-matched sox. It spread via social media and became a fad.
